Ministerial Staff

Reverend Barbara Cargill
Minister of Discipleship
Reverend Barbara Cargill is a gifted teacher, she is the instructor for “Bible Basics” a class which opens up the bible to believers in a basic way.
Reverend Cargill also assists in the visitation ministry, communing the sick and shut in members within The People’s family. She holds a Master’s of Divinity from Ashland Theological seminary and is a Certified Christian Counselor.

Reverend Adalsa Latty
Minister of Visitation
Reverend Adalsa Latty is frequently found visiting and communing the sick and shut in members of The People’s Church family.
In addition to those duties, Reverend Latty also serves as the Superintendent of Sunday School and a Class Leader. A known servant within the community, during the week Reverend Latty can be found assisting children and youth at The Dunbar Center where he is currently employed.

Reverend Deanna Daniel
Minister of Worship
Reverend Deanna Daniel serves on the ministerial staff at People’s as Minister of Worship and Music Director and Director of Vacation Bible School. A licensed preacher and certified teacher she is often called upon to share her gifts and talents in multiple arenas.
Reverend Daniel was previously selected to sing the National anthem on two separate occasions at Madison Square Garden for both The New York Knicks and the WNBA’s New York Liberty basketball teams. Holding a Bachelor’s and Masters Degree as a graduate of Le Moyne College, she currently is employed as an 8th grade teacher in the Syracuse City School District.

Reverend Terrance King
Associate Minister, College Ministry
Reverend Terrance King is the co-leader of the People’s College Ministry. In addition to preaching he has also held a several positions within the local church. He also sings with the choir and praise and worship ministry.
In 2008 he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Criminal Justice minor.He also holds a Master’s Degree in education with dual certification in general and special education at Metropolitan College of New York.
Outside of ministry, he currently serves as general/special education teacher at the middle school level. Rev. King is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity incorporated, through which he is the Vice-President of his grad chapter and the Chapter Advisor to undergraduate Alphas on the campuses of Syracuse University and S.U.N.Y. Oswego.
